Whitchurch has a good selection of shops, including Tesco, Iceland and Lidl. However, many of our guests arrange for Tesco to deliver the holiday groceries by ordering over the internet [www.tesco.com]. Should you decide to arrange for a delivery after 10:00 am but before 2:00 pm on your day of arrival your groceries will be unpacked for you and placed in fridge/freezer or cupboards in The Main House, ready for your arrival. Please let us know beforehand if you have arranged this. We understand that Sainsbury and ASDA are now also delivering to our area.

Aramayo's the Caterers is run by husband and wife team, Michael and Sarah. Michael has over 14 years experience in catering for a whole range of special occasions, whilst Sarah takes on an administrative role dealing with bookings, menus, staffing and overall organising. Aramayo's menus are tailored to suit the season, the event and the client’s preferences and they have an excellent team of waiting staff to make sure your special meal goes smoothly. They will agree your menu with you and then visit Bon Accueil to prepare and cook for you while you simply sit back and relax in the company of your guests. Enjoy the experience, while your personal caterers serve each course and clean everything away. A wonderful surprise for someone special! They can even leave you a locally sourced breakfast hamper and/or a pot-roast meal for the following day, leaving you totally free to do what you came away for in the first place - ie to relax!
Alternatively, many guests take advantage of Bespoke Buffets who will prepare and deliver super, home-made fare using local produce.
In fact, having booked a property with so much to occupy them, more guests are saving time and money by doing both - eg booking a buffet for the evening of their arrival and a personal chef service for their special dinner with friends or family.
All our caterers have minimum requirements and prices are subject to change from time to time but prices start at around £7 per head for a buffet and around £25 per head for the services of a personal chef.
