Whitchurch has a good selection of shops, including Tesco, Iceland, Kwik-Save and Lidl. However, an increasing number of guests arrange for Tesco to deliver the holiday groceries by ordering over the internet [www.tesco.com]. Should you decide to arrange for a delivery after 10:00am but before 4:00pm on your day of arrival your groceries will be unpacked for you and placed in fridge/freezer or cupboards in The Main House, ready for your arrival. Please let us know beforehand if you have arranged this. Sorry, but no other supermarkets currently deliver to the area.
Yanada
For a truly exceptional dining experience or a wonderful surprise for someone very special, you may wish to arrange for in-house chefs, Tania and Toru Yanada (www.yanada.co.uk) to visit Bon Accuiel to cook an inspired dinner for you whilst you are exploring the local countryside. You can then return and truly relax while your in-house chefs serve each course and clean everything away.
Bespoke Buffets
We have a number of take-away restaurants in Whitchurch but, as a special alternative, you may want to take advantage of Bespoke Buffets who will prepare and deliver home-made fare using local produce at a very reasonable rate, for larger groups. This service has proved very popular with guests, particularly on their arrival day. Louise, Bon Accueil's caterer, asks for one week's notice but, to avoid disappointment, it is prudent to contact her sooner rather than later. Click here to view example menus.
